The council of Câmara de Lobos will be subjected to a sanitary fence, as the President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, revealed a moment ago in a digital press conference, the second held this Saturday.
The measure is necessary given the record of a significant increase in positive cases of Covid-19 in this parish, in the last 24 hours. Health officials are still investigating the length of the transmission chain.
According to Miguel Albuquerque, the circulation of people and vehicles from and to the parish was thus prohibited. The measure takes effect at 00:00 on Sunday and will remain for at least 15 days.
