Government Decision. Cancer patients will not be vaccinated in the first phase

The Government states that the decision not to include cancer patients in the first vaccination phase is based on scientific evidence.

For people who are not followed up at the National Health Service, the process is the same as for other vaccines. To book it is necessary to call the Health Center.

A source close to the vaccination plan coordinating group explained to RTP that, as in the United Kingdom, the European Medicines Agency is unlikely to authorize the vaccination of young people and children up to the age of 18 and pregnant women.

For now private individuals are out of vaccination. The National Health Service will ensure the plan. An internet page and a telephone line will be created to answer questions from users and health professionals. By July, the goal is for more than 3.6 million people to be vaccinated.
