All the info on Gotham Knights
Warner Bros. Games Montreal finally unveils Gotham Knights, the project the teams have been working on for several years. The premise is as dark as the city it takes place in. Batman is dead. It is therefore incumbent upon his disciples to take up the torch.
We therefore find Batgirl, alias Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Jim Gordon, the illustrious commissioner who has since died and a great ally of Batman. She is accompanied by Nightwing, aka Dick Grayson, it is the first Robin to have given up his first identity. About Robin, the new vigilante in the red and green suit is also on the team. The group of masked avengers finally consists of Red Hood, aka Jason Todd. He is the fiercest and most unpredictable of the four.
On the gameplay side, Gotham Knights is presented as an open world game. You can enjoy the game alone or in two-person co-op. We choose our hero at the start of the adventure who has his own skills. Batgirl, for example, has a grappling hook while Robin can teleport and thus cover great distances quickly. Each of them is also very good at close quarters combat as was the late Bruce Wayne.
We are promised many varied bat gadgets for different missions. Note for example that the heroes will be able to travel by motorbike to reach the different corners of the city more quickly. We are therefore closer to Marvel’s Spider-Man than to Avengers.
We also note the presence of a system of experience points and therefore progression. We assume that we will have a skill tree to unlock new skills as the adventure progresses.
