Got PKPU, Here’s the Response of PTPP Management

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The state-owned construction company, PT Pembangunan Perumahan Tbk (PTPP), was sued by Budi Darmawan and CV Prima regarding the Postponement of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) case.

This lawsuit was registered on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Central Jakarta District Court with case number 321 / Pdt.Sus-PKPU / 2020 / PN Niaga Jkt.Pst with attorney Kukuh Agus Kurniawan.

Based on the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) quoted on Wednesday (7/10/2020), the Petitioner, Budi Darmawan and CV Prima asked the court to accept and grant the PKPU petition submitted by the Petitioner to the PKPU Respondent.


Furthermore, to grant the Temporary Postponement of the Obligation to Pay Debt (PKPU) Application submitted by the PKPU Petitioner against the PKPU Respondent for 45 (forty five) days from the date the decision was pronounced;

“If the Chairman of the Commercial Court in the Central Jakarta District Court cq the Judiciary that examines and decides the matter aquo other opinion, please be able to give a fair decision (ex aequo et bono),” wrote the announcement at SIPP PN Central Jakarta.

Responding to this, Corporate Secretary Yuyus Juarsa confirmed that the company is currently in PKPU. PKPU petitioner Budi Darmawan is the foreman of several projects carried out by the company, including Swissbel Inn Surabaya and Transmart Malang.

Meanwhile, CV Prima is the vendor of several projects carried out by the company for the Hotel Labersa project, the Sentul project and JO Kendari.

Meanwhile, the materiality value of the company’s obligations to PKPU applicants is IDR 1.75 billion. Of this amount, PTPP has paid part of the obligation amounting to Rp 915.37 million.

“PKPU temporarily has no impact on the company’s financial and operational performance,” said Yuyus Juarsa, in his statement on the IDX information disclosure page, quoted on Wednesday (7/10/2020).

Currently, PTPP has communicated with the applicant’s attorney and will pay this obligation no later than 7 days after the withdrawal of the PKPU petition at the Central Jakarta District Court.
