Actress Olivia de Havilland died at the age of 104 in her hometown of Paris, international media write. The two-time Oscar winner was one of the last movie stars of the so-called golden age of Hollywood.
De Havilland has played in about fifty films in more than half a century. She was the last living star of the movie Gone with the Wind. That 1939 classic was temporarily removed by streaming service HBO Max last month, as the film would romanticize America’s slavery past.
De Havilland has lived in the French capital since 1960. She was the oldest living actor to win an Oscar.
