Golden Sixty’s permanent jockey, Vincent Ho, has weighed in on the debate over letting Hong Kong’s superstar race abroad this year.
Ho told Racing.com, “I always felt that Golden Sixty loves to be outside and deserves to travel and see the world just for his spirit and well-being. I don’t know how he will handle the travel, he’s been used to Hong Kong for so long, but I feel like he really deserves it and would love to travel.”
Golden Sixty has entries for the Group I Dubai Turf 1800m and for the 1600m leader Yasuda Kinen in Japan. Most recently, the Medaglia D’Oro son won the Group I Stewards’ Cup against Hong Kong’s best horses California Spangle and Romantic Warrior, which has fueled the discussion about an appearance abroad.
