Gold prices are going up in Egypt during Thursday trading

Gold prices in the local market returned to rise during Thursday’s trading, compared to yesterday’s levels, after declining on Wednesday.

Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a gram of 21 carat gold rose today to 746 pounds compared to 742 pounds yesterday.

The price of a gram of 18 carat gold today rose to 639 pounds, the price of a gram of 24 carat to 853 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold to 5968 pounds.

According to Bloomberg Agency data, global gold prices rose during today’s trading, as the price of an ounce today increased by 4.9 dollars by 0.28% compared to the end of trading yesterday, to record 1721 dollars an ounce, at twelve and 15 minutes at noon Cairo time.
