The Minnesota Wild beat the Edmonton Oilers Wednesday night. Minnesota’s winning directors were all Värmlanders, Joel Eriksson Ek was responsible for goals and assists while Jonas Brodin was noted for two performances.
It was Eriksson Ek who opened the scoring for Minnesota. The goal after one minute and eleven seconds was a Värmland-Norway collaboration. In powerplay, Mats Zuccarello was able to shoot from the right technical circle, led by Jonas Brodin. Miko Koskinen in the Edmonton goal saved the first shot, but the return was taken care of by Joel Eriksson Ek.
Minnesota would win the match 4-1, after each assist point for the team Värmland elements. Eriksson Ek is listed for ten goals and seven assists, Jonas Brodin stands at three plus eleven.
Hard night for Asplund
Buffalo has surprised many this season. The team was tipped at the absolute bottom and as a favorite to get the first letter in this summer’s draft – but the team has surprised.
At home against the Anaheim Ducks, however, they were defeated after Trevor Zegras and Sonny Milano collaborated on what should be the favorite for this year’s goal.

Filipstadsson Asplund played over 16 minutes and was in Anaheim’s both goals when Sabers fell 0-2.
