Goa International Film Festival kicks off; Greetings Mohanlal and Vidya Balan

Goa: The 51st International Film Festival kicks off in Goa. The 51st IFFI will be held from January 16 to January 24, 2021.

Many people came to the fair with greetings. Actors Mohanlal, Anupam Kher, Vidya Balan, Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Aparshakthi Khurana, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit came on stage to congratulate the audience.

Mohanlal said in the congratulatory video that it would open a new avenue for film industries around the world to come together beyond entertainment.

This year’s fair is being held in a hybrid style. There are six feature films in Malayalam, including five feature films and one non – feature film.

Mohammed Mustafa’s ‘Kappela’, Siddique Paravur’s ‘Tahira’, Anwar Rashid’s ‘Trance’, Nizam Basheer’s ‘Kettolaan Ente Malakha’ and Pradeep Kalipurayam’s ‘Safe’ are the feature films.

Sharan Venugopal’s ‘Like a Midnight Dream’ is a non-feature film. The chapel is included in the mainstream cinema category. Directed by Vetrimaran from Tamil, Asuran also stars Nitish Tiwari’s ‘Chichore’ starring the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
