Gladbach: Borussia has 613,000 Instagram followers

Mönchengladbach – The social media have meanwhile assumed an important role in society. For this reason, the soccer portal “90min“Take a closer look at the current follower numbers of the Bundesliga clubs.

Lo and behold: Borussia Mönchengladbach is also in the European ranks on Instagram. With around 613,000 followers on Instagram (as of December 29, 2020), the foals occupy sixth place in the Bundesliga ranking behind RB Leipzig with 902,000 followers.

However: With the strong appearances in the premier class, the foals have made a name for themselves across Europe, which should have a positive effect on the number of followers on Instagram in the long term.

However, there is still another way for the Gladbacher to reach the Champions League ranks on Instagram. Because the top three clubs have several million followers there. Bayer Leverkusen has the third most fans on the social network with around 1.1 million, while Borussia Dortmund ranks second with an impressive 12.1 million. The absolute front runner, however, is the German record champions FC Bayern Munich.

The club, which also occupies first place in the current Bundesliga table, has an incredible 24.7 million Instagram fans and is thus far at the top of the Instagram table.

The bottom of the table is Borussia’s upcoming Bundesliga opponent Arminia Bielefeld. So far, “only” around 92,000 people have followed the climber.
