Chartres. Chartres: Giving blood is saving lives. In partnership with the French Blood Establishment (EFS), 83 people were welcomed in a friendly atmosphere at the cultural hall of Nogent-le-Phaye, last Friday, by the Rotarian volunteers of the Rotary Club of Chartres, chaired by Pascal Michau .

Through this action “My blood for others”, initiated by this club in 2012, Rotary affirms its will to act concretely and in a sustainable way in one of its priority fields of action: health and research new donors.

A partnership “with generous actors” has been set up for this meeting. Patrick Violas, founder of the zoo refuge La Tanière, gave each donor free entry to his site.

For the tenth consecutive year, the Association for Credit and Savings of Civil Servants (ACEF Val de France), within the framework of a partnership agreement with the Rotary Club of Chartres allowing to amplify actions in the social field and humanitarian, donated the sum of € 9,000 to the Chartres club for the organization of the operation.
