Elda City Council, through theDepartment of Commerce and Markets, has launched the campaign“For mom? A gift ‘made in Elda”, an initiative that aims to promote and support Eldense trade at a time as complicated as the current one due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The mayor of the city, Rubén Alfaro, presented this morning a campaign that includes “the creation of an online directory or guide that brings together all those companies and businesses in Elda that offer the possibility of buying gift products online or via WhatsApp , and that they deliver at home. “
The Department of Commerce has sent Elda shops aforminscription in this directory, which can also be done through email ([email protected]). The online directory or guide will be available on the City Council website (www.elda.es).
The first mayor explained that “thanks to the previous work that we have carried out, at the moment more than 40 shops and companies from Elda have already registered and we are sure that in the next few hours this figure will increase even more”. Among the businesses registered in the directory there arejewelers, clothing and accessories stores, florists, patisseries, among others.
Alfaro recalled that, “as I was saying earlier, one of theobjectivesof this campaign is to contribute to the recovery ofcommercial fabricof our city and cushion the impact of the crisis, especially in those businesses that have not been able to open their doors since the state of alarm was decreed. We believe that this campaign will also be aincentiveso that many businesses in our city bet on the digitization of part of their services and the creation of new ways ofdeal“
The mayor stressed that this campaign is in addition to the guide of food shops and basic necessities that offer home delivery in Elda and that has enabled more than 15,000 deliveries to be made in five weeks, “a fact that shows that , in these circumstances, bet on offering this type ofservicesor by the launch of aOnline storeThey can be two essential bets to start the recovery as soon as possible. “
