The Main Pharmaceutical Inspector prohibits placing a drug on the market or withdrawing it from the market in three cases:
- stating that it does not meet the quality requirements;
- the mere suspicion that it does not satisfy them;
- counterfeit product.
Additionally, in the computer systems of pharmacies, such a drug is blocked by a special program under the National Healthcare System, which prevents sale.
