Wali Kota Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka suggested by the General Chairman of the Party Gerindra, Prabowo Subianto, to run in the Pilgub of Central Java (Central Java) or the Pilgub of DKI Jakarta. Although he has yet to take a stand, Gibran is considered to have won more easily in the Pilgub of Central Java.
The assessment was delivered by the Executive Director of Indonesian Political Parameters Adi Prayotno. He assessed that Gibran is currently stronger in the Pilgub of Central Java than in the Pilgub of DKI Jakarta.
“Gibran is currently appearing in surveys in two areas, being the key to Central Java and Jakarta. If in Central Java Gibran just sleeps, he will definitely win,” said Adi in a total political discussion, on Jl Warung Jati Timur Raya, South Jakarta, Saturday (25/05). 6/2022).
According to him, Gibran’s electability in the Central Java gubernatorial election is considered quite high. It is known that Gibran’s electability in the Pilgub of Central Java has reached 28.5 percent.
“Just imagine, this is not yet complete as Mayor, its popularity is already 76 percent. His electability in private is already 28 percent. That was when Gibran had not yet associated himself,” he said.

Meanwhile, during the DKI gubernatorial election, Adi said that Gibran’s popularity was able to match that of the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria. Even so, Gibran’s electability in the DKI gubernatorial election is still low.
“Interestingly, Gibran has always been associated with DKI. In DKI, his popularity has emerged that he can match with Syahroni, Riza Patria. In terms of electability, he is indeed low because he has to compete with big names like Ahok and Risma. Interestingly, if Gibran is projected to become Deputy Governor of DKI, he will second place,” he said.
Furthermore, Adi said Gibran’s popularity was influenced by three factors, namely because of the President’s son. In addition, he said, Gibran is also a PDIP cadre and the mayor of Solo.
“Gibran’s political magnets are three, the President’s son, PDIP, the mayor of Solo. The two most dominant, we must admit first that Gibran doesn’t want to get involved in political affairs. If asked for a statement on political affairs, Gibran doesn’t want to. being able to carry out the same politics as Jokowi, what does that mean? Mas Gibran’s figure becomes important, when the simultaneous regional elections were held after Jokowi didn’t become President, would Mas Gibran still be as attractive as he is now?” he said.
“I’m worried that if Mas Gibran isn’t the President’s son anymore, will his political bargaining power remain strong?” he continued.
