Figure Isabella Guzman suddenly viral. He became the subject of conversation because he smiled after killing his mother sadly. He stabbed the mother 151 times. Isabella was also acquitted.
This decision is in the spotlight. The decision not guilty was taken after the Colorado court officially accepted the appeal and declared Guzman had a mental disorder.
He was also free from prison. However, Isabella was taken to a Mental Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. Due to his mental illness, Guzman is considered unable to determine what is right and wrong.
The doctor who treated her, Dr. Richard Pounds, revealed that Isabella has schizophrenia paranoia. His illness made him often talk and laugh to himself.
“He often stares into a vacuum, then talks to someone who is not visible, and he laughs to himself,” said Dr. Richard.
So, what is schizophrenia paranoia?
Schizophrenia with Paranoia being the most common example of mental illness. Reporting from WebMD, this disorder is a disease of psychosis. This condition greatly affects the way sufferers think and behave.
This disorder can appear in different ways and times even in the same person. Usually, Paranoia Schizophrenia beginning in late adolescence or into adulthood. There is also a mention from the age of 18 to 30 years.
People with the disorder have delusions of paranoia and are very suspicious of other people. This delusion also causes the sufferer to have intense fear and deep anxiety about something that is not real.
A person suffering from this disorder focuses more on thinking about how to protect themselves from people who will attack or hurt them. Sometimes, Schizophrenia Paranoia can be a chronic condition that is long term or lifelong.
It is not yet known exactly what causes schizophrenia paranoia. Some suspect that this condition is passed down from the family. It’s just that, not all of these Paranoia Schizophrenic sufferers have family members with the same condition.
It is not known the exact cause associated with this disorder. However, several factors are thought to increase a person’s risk of suffering from schizophrenia including brain abnormalities and disorders, experiencing hypoxia or lack of oxygen at birth, experiencing trauma during childhood, such as bullying, sexual abuse, or losing a parent.
To treat it, sufferers Paranoia Schizophrenia have to take special medications and avoid alcohol. In addition, they must also get counseling from psychiatrists and family support, so that they can get back to normal again.
