Following violations by a citizen of the Russian Federation in the case of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office “Golden Passports”, I approached the Minister of Justice with a request to submit a proposal to the President to revoke the Bulgarian citizenship of the person. This is what prosecutor number one Ivan Geshev just wrote on Twitter.

The state prosecution clarified that the inspection was assigned to SANS by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for pre-trial proceedings, known as the “Golden Passports”. Thus, it was established that a citizen of the Russian Federation has violated the requirements of the procedure for acquiring Bulgarian citizenship.
