Former Red Devil Gert Verheyen needs no introduction in Belgian football. Same goes for Annelien Coorevits, former Anderlecht icon Olivier Deschacht.
Verheyen and Coorevits reunited on Wednesday to attend the ‘Over De Ocean’ press day. Both participate in the second season of the program, which will air on Streamz from December 26th.
On the program they will complete a sailing trip of more than five thousand kilometers together with Ella Leyers, Elodie Ouedraogo, James Cooke and Jonas Geirnaert. The destination is tropical Santa Lucia in the Caribbean Sea.
They participate in the Atlantic Rally For Cruisers throughout the series. It is a sailing competition organized since 1986. It is the largest competition of its kind and has around 250 participants every year.
