German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier wrote a letter to President Andrzej Duda, who was confirmed to be infected with coronavirus a few days ago. He and all of Germany are sympathetic to the dramatic development of the COVID-19 pandemic, he said. “Let me know if there are things we can do for Poland in the current situation,” Steinmeier asked President Duda.

“From my own quarantine, I sincerely wish you a quick and full recovery” – wrote German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in a letter to Andrzej Duda.

“The coronavirus pandemic is a difficult test for all of us – for our health systems, our economies and the cohesion in our societies, as well as for each of us individually,” said the German leader to President Duda. He assured President Duda that he and all of Germany were sympathetic to the dramatic development of the COVID-19 pandemic, not sparing Poland as well.

“Where national medical opportunities reach their limits, we should do everything to help each other,” Steinmeier wrote to the Polish president. “Let me know if there are things we can do for Poland in the current situation,” he added.
