In northern Italy close to the Austrian border, a car was crashed into a group of winter sports tourists from Germany last night. The police assume an accident. The German travel company may have hit the street.
A number of tourists were injured in the collision, the driver of the car survived the accident.
The victims have yet to be identified. Not everyone had proof of identity with them, and not everyone in the company knew each other, says the Italian police.
The collision occurred around 1:00 am last night near Luttach in the Ahrntal in South Tyrol in a popular winter sports area.
