The recent events that have called Spanish journalism into question and above all, the role of some media to favor according to which sectors have led to an interesting debate on participation in these spaces.
Faced with the decision of some journalists to abandon television talk shows such as those on the Ferreras program, which has been the main party involved in this case, a regular in this section, Gerardo Tecehas shared an interesting reflection.
You have to go to the gatherings of La Sexta, Telecinco and Intereconomía if the opportunity arises. Of course, you have to be willing to stick your finger in the sore spot and get kicked out for telling the truth. And therein lies the problem of journalism in Spain. The best censorship is precariousness.

“You have to go to the gatherings of La Sexta, from Telecinco and Intereconomy if it breaks Of course, you have to be willing to stick your finger in the sore spot and get kicked out for telling the truth. And therein lies the problem of journalism in Spain. The best censorship is precariousness,” he posted on his Twitter account.
At a time when some journalists are questioning whether or under what conditions to continue attending talk shows, it is important to bear in mind the need to have a representation and that they do not become talks between right-wing journalists.

It is evident that it generates a lot of exposure and in some cases they become scenes of harassment and demolition of the most ‘progressive’ journalist, making it a complex decision and an issue that has generated an interesting debate among Twitter users.
I very much agree with this and I add: the decisions of each one are very personal, both to go and not to go. https://t.co/fZnrnh9Nws

That is the key: you have to go to the gatherings, but willing to change the framework. https://t.co/JldEluwZB1

I totally agree with this position.
Exactly the same as:

This thing about Gerardo is what I think too. I think it’s the best option. Go and not cut yourself in the slightest. And to every lie, every disrespect, raise your voice. It is the only way to change their pace and prevent them from marking the agenda. And if they throw you out, they take it away, I dance it https://t.co/ydOI74Nxn3

I disagree, while this is not resolved, at this time there is no need to go.. https://t.co/vimxgdJAbg

I have to agree with that, except that you shouldn’t just go to these channels, you have to go to all of them. https://t.co/3Pk5kUid25

The common sense of @gerardotc It is very important to keep in mind, always. A little bit of maturity at some intensites wouldn’t hurt. He goes everywhere and they say clear things like @Fgarea https://t.co/R2x4D89WKH

While we wait for it to happen, lies creep in, omission of the truth, confusion…all of this sinks in for years…until when? https://t.co/3a2b9Ej3nw
