Work one day and earn 31 million euros. Few would turn down that offer. But actor George Clooney (60) did. He said that in an interview with The Guardian.

Clooney was asked in the interview ‘Do you think you have too much money?’ served. The actor made no bones about it, saying, “Well, yes. I had been offered an offer to work one day on an airline commercial for $35 million (almost 31 million euros, ed.), but I talked about it with Amal (his wife, ed.) and we decided it’s not worth it.”

The airline was affiliated with a country that is an ally of the United States, Clooney said, but the country is said to be questionable at times. “And so I thought, if I lose a minute of sleep over it, it’s not worth it.”

In addition to his profitable acting career, Clooney is said to have earned around 35 million euros in the past from his advertising for Nespresso and sold his tequila company Casamigos for 1 billion dollars (about 883 million euros).
