The sites had to be closed, following the significant damage caused by the storm of August 13 in the evening. The Green Space Service (SEVE) secured the parks and walks in the public domain of the City of Geneva. All the trees were checked to avoid any accidents. “It was also a question of protecting and making safe the whole of the raised heritage”, specifies a press release.
Parc La Grange remains closed until further notice, as does the summer relaxation area. The Canopy, located on the Gustave-Ador quay, which was also damaged. The site is closed to the public until further notice and activities taking place there are suspended.
