Gathering at 6 p.m. in front of the Dijon prefecture this Friday, December 18 for the rights of migrants – K6FM

Tens of thousands of children, women and men are dying on migration routes, victims of murderous border closure policies. Europe sees itself as a fortress and the new migration and asylum pact under discussion at European level toughens the reception conditions for people who come here to seek asylum or simply a future and accelerate expulsions to the countries of origin. We are campaigning for a real welcome policy, and first of all for the abolition of the Dublin agreement.

It is urgent that France finally sign the “international convention on the protection of the rights of all migrant workers and members of their families” adopted by the UN on December 18, 1990!

We demand the opening of legalized and secure channels for migration in order to avoid tragedies and allow dignified access to those seeking safety.

We support the call of the IOM (International Organization for Migration) to restore rescues at sea and end the detention of refugees and migrants in Libya.

Those who live, work and study among us, often for many years, have less and less access to regularization.

A growing number of unaccompanied minors, who must be protected as minors, regardless of their nationality and status, are not recognized as such and are thrown into the streets. And when they are nevertheless protected, it is at the age of majority that they are denied any status and that they are threatened with deportation to countries where they often no longer have any ties.

In Côte d’Or as elsewhere, even people who meet all the official criteria for regularization do not obtain it.

For equal rights. For freedom of movement For regularization
