Gasoline distribution plan adapted in Yaracuy

A new adaptation of the gasoline supply plan in the capital of the Yaracuy state, San Felipe, began to be carried out as of the weekend with very favorable results that allow to maintain order and end the riots that have lately been generated in the stations service to refuel.

The mayor of Independencia, José Mujica, reported this Monday that the plan was only optimized to adapt it to the local context, in two gasoline pumps of the municipality: Savayo and La Catalana, which supply the central part of the city, where it began to be applied a schedule of plate numbers different from that established nationally.

In addition, security controls were tightened in the vicinity of gasoline stations, where previously uncontrolled queues were made and lists were created in which many people irregularly entered without even being present.

In the aforementioned two stations, on Mondays the numbers ending in 1 and 2, Tuesday 3 and 4, Wednesday 5 and 6, Thursday 7 and 8 and Friday 9 and 0 will be supplied, and this will continue progressively until the service is normalized.

The plan is to eliminate clutter and help to keep calm, so a preventive cordon is placed around the perimeter of each service station with the support of the State Police and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb).

Only 150 cars will be served daily, with 30 liters of gasoline each, and 50 motorcycles, which will only receive 10 liters. Starting at 3 in the morning, the vehicles that correspond to the supply of fuel will be allowed to queue and no vehicle near before that time or lists made previously will be accepted.

In addition, daily the Mayor’s Office will grant 20 places for extreme health cases, which must demonstrate the urgency they have, with medical certificates in hand, for their subsequent approval.

Official vehicles will also be registered with the town hall to have a detailed endorsement of the amounts of gasoline that are supplied.
