Gas price in Ukraine – the tariff of 47 hryvnia per cubic meter threatens the clients of the PPN

Preferential gas price at UAH 7.96 / cu. m for residential customers, the PPN was valid until November 30, and from December 1, the cost of blue fuel has changed.

According to the company, as of December 3, 453.5 thousand consumers are using the services of PNP.

The functions of the supplier of the last resort are performed by the Naftogaz of Ukraine State Corporation, and the clients of the PIP are citizens and companies that have suddenly lost their supplier in the event of force majeure.

“We emphasize! PIP is a temporary solution for such consumers. They have to choose a new market gas supplier within a few months. We constantly remind you of this and ask you to do it,” the NAK noted.

What awaits Ukrainians who stayed at the checkpoint

Naftogaz noted that such space tariffs are UAH 46.7 / cu. m for almost half a million consumers, in practice, may not be touched until the end of the current heating season.

Here is the way they found a way to protect clients: NAK turned to NKREKP, with a proposal to automatically transfer all household clients of PPN to the terms of their basic annual offer.

“This will allow customers to receive gas during the entire heating season at one of the most favorable prices on the gas market – UAH 7.96 / cubic meter (including VAT, excluding distribution / delivery costs),” the publication says.

Naftogaz added that the regulator’s decision is now expected.
