Gary Neville told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale has pestered him all season.
Bale has been hungry for opportunity at Tottenham this season, with the Welshman constantly being ignored by José Mourinho.
But Bale hasn’t always been the most frustrated figure on the Spurs bench.
And Neville says Bale’s attitude has really frustrated him.

“He has to bring Dele Alli and Bale and I’m not saying he has to please these players because Gareth Bale has bothered me all season just by watching him smile on the bench,” he said.
The murmurs of discontent between Bale and Mourinho have increased in recent weeks, after the Spurs loan officer chose not to play against Everton.
However, Bale returned to the Tottenham team against Manchester City at the weekend and really impressed.

The Champions League winner produced a moment of great skill and came as close as any Spurs player ever did to scoring in the second half, in their 3-0 loss.
Bale may now have a chance to start at Spurs’ next game, which arrives in the Europa League on Thursday night.
