Garden huts targeted Criminals / police are looking for witnesses

Darmstadt (ots) – During the night of Thursday (June 11th), several garden huts in an allotment garden facility on Rosenhöweg were targeted by criminals.

According to the current state of knowledge, at least three huts were attacked by the criminals. In one case, at around 2.50 am, an unknown person got inside a hut due to the use of force. He smashed a window there with a tool. From this he stole a white Pegasus bike, which was parked in the shed. The stranger then fled with his prey.

The fugitive is said to be between 30 and 40 years old and has dark short hair. He was wearing a light top with a dark jacket and dark trousers.

Whether something has been stolen from the other two huts and whether the fugitive is also connected to these cases must be checked in the context of police investigations. The break-in caused damage of several hundred euros to the garden houses.

The Darmstadt-City investigation group is responsible for the cases and asks: Who made suspicious observations during this period? Who can give information about the location of the bicycle and the unknown man? Witnesses are asked to contact investigators at 06151 / 969-0.
