Central Java DPRD Commission D member Benny Karnadi criticized Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, who said he rarely attended plenary meetings. Central Java Secretary Sumarno revealed why Ganjar did not attend the Central Java DPRD plenary meeting.

Earlier, DPRD Central Java (Central Java) Commission member Benny Karnadi criticized Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo for assessing that Ganjar rarely attends plenary meetings. Benny asked Ganjar to focus more on Central Java issues.

Even so, in some plenary meetings Ganjar was still present. Benny hopes that Ganjar can always attend meetings and considers every meeting with the board important.
“What’s key is that it usually comes, like the signing of the APBD, but in reality, I think as long as whatever the nature of the meeting, it becomes a tool for political communication with the council if it can attend,” he explained.
The PKB faction commission member admitted that he did not know why Ganjar rarely attended meetings. However, what he saw on social media, Ganjar was often caught outside the city.
“Several times I have seen on TV that he received invitations even outside the region, yes, it is natural to receive invitations from outside the region, it is natural,” he said.
As for Ganjar coming out of the area often, according to Benny, it actually makes him proud. However, he believes that Ganjar should be able to focus more on troubleshooting in Central Java right now.
“Our message is that we are more focused on improving the destiny of Central Java, reducing unemployment, increasing economic growth and so on. We are really happy, we are proud, precisely for communication,” he continued.
This criticism was also voiced by Benny during a plenary meeting regarding the Raperda on the implementation of broadcasting and the Raperda for domestic wastewater management for Central Java on Monday (31/10). After Raperda’s two reports were read, Benny broke off. He regretted Ganjar’s absence.
“So, once again I say that the Central Java governor can focus more on managing the work in Central Java before he takes care of Indonesia, because there are still a lot of tasks in Central Java,” Benny said at the time.
