The coronavirus pandemic, aka COVID-19, has already affected many countries and various sectors of our business. If during the outbreak of this epidemic, many were skeptical about it, and someone even tried to win on it, like Plague Inc, but now many people have directed their efforts to solve the problem. Gamers and simply owners of powerful PCs can now help in the study of COVID-19.

At the subreddit, the PC Master race called on the owners of all powerful video cards and processors to join the calculations of the Folding @ Home project from Stanford University, which is engaged in modeling methods of dealing with COVID-19. Large iron manufacturers have already supported a similar initiative on their official social pages, including Intel, MSI, and NVIDIA.

The Stanford University project – Folding @ Home, was launched back in 2000 to conduct computer simulations of coagulation of protein molecules, which allows a better understanding of the cause of serious diseases.

To take part in the study, you just need to install the project client and configure it to use the resources of your PC.
