Game filming ‘Uncharted’ goes to Netflix

–>
Sony Pictures announced last week that they have signed an exclusive deal with Netflix to bring all of their movies due out in 2022 to the streaming service. This includes movies like Morbius, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and the sequel on Into the Spider-Verse, but also game filming Uncharted.

You read that right; the adventure movie with Tom Holland comes to Netflix. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t get a chance to watch the movie in the cinema. The film will first receive a bios release, but can only be watched via Netflix at a later time (and not via other services). Sony and Netflix have not yet announced how much time will be between the cinema and Netflix release.

A unique deal
So it seems that this deal is not like what HBO Max is currently doing with Warner Bros films, where the films in question are on the same day and in the cinema and can be streamed via HBO Max.

At the moment we have not seen anything except for a first photo Uncharted. And that while the recordings were completed a while ago. A trailer for the film is expected this summer.

Uncharted should reach cinemas worldwide in February 2022.
