Comedian Maxim Galkin in a peculiar manner congratulated the subscribers of his Instagram. The artist posted a video parodying the president’s New Year’s address to the Russians.
In the video, Galkin in a suit stands on the background of a dressed up spruce, next to him is a man who looks like Vladimir Putin. Both glance at the camera, as if expecting something and are preparing to start the performance. Look at each other, smile at each other, portray nervousness, but never say a word.
“New Year’s appeal,” Galkin signed the video.
Earlier, a comedian in an open manner expressed his attitude to certain aspects of Russia’s domestic policy. In particular, he talked about censorship on television and admitted that now only at live concerts can he say what he thinks from the stage.
At the same time, Galkin answered negatively to the question of whether he was ready to engage in politics. He was asked whether he would, following the example of his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky, allow his candidacy for power. The Russian comedian expressed the opinion that such a career is impossible in the Russian Federation.
“They will shoot us before the inauguration,” said the comedian.
