Galaxy S23 will have the brightest screen among smartphones

New rumors indicate that the Galaxy S23 will have the brightest screen among smartphones, surpassing the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

A tweet posted by the RGcloudS Twitter account shows that the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung’s best flagship model of 2023, will have a maximum brightness of 2150 nits compared to 1750 for the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The tweet also states that “numbers may be different at launch due to additional changes.” The leaker claims that Samsung can boost the maximum brightness to 2,200 nits or higher with a minimum brightness of 2,100 nits. In any case, this will make the Galaxy S23 Ultra the smartphone with the brightest screen in the world, beating the 2,000 nits available in the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED curved screen will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. As a result, scrolling is smooth. The phone will be powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 12GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage.

The quad-camera setup on the back will include a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 30x spatial zoom, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. There is a 32MP front camera for selfies and video chats, a 5000mAh battery will keep the lights on, and there will be support for 25W fast charging. And wireless charging will be done at 15 watts.

The phone is expected to be unveiled in January or February 2023, according to the PhoneArena website.
