In practice, they work like this: the two devices manage to produce good images, but Samsung’s cameras work better, with colors closer to reality. This is evident in the photos we took on the balcony of the building, it was a cloudy day and on the Samsung camera you can see it clearly. In the realme camera, this grass with a warmer shade of green and few shadows on the trees, we can even fool ourselves whether or not there is any sunlight there.

In selfies, both cameras have their flaws, especially the noise level that gets to be annoying in environments with a greater absence of light, but still, Samsung’s is better. The realme C55’s selfies make us look a little pale, and that’s the way it is in any environment. See some photos below and draw your conclusion:

Under the hood, both have similar configurations, as is the case with the choice of MediaTek processors, but from different generations. For example, the Samsung model comes with the Helio G80 — 2.0GHz octa-core, Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and 12nm lithography, while realme C55 is slightly more modern, with the model Helio G88with a frequency and lithography identical to that of its competitor, but with a Mali-G57 GPU, which is more up-to-date, and a slight improvement in energy efficiency.

If you want to know which of the two do better in games, for example, we can say that there is a technical tie. Both the realme and Samsung models got a stamp WHEEL with one average of 13 thousand points in our tests. In games like PUBG, Free Fire e eFootballthe performance is pleasant in both cases, but it is in heavier games like Tower of Fantasy e Genshin Impact that they suffer more, which is super normal. To tie a tie then, let’s consider that the Galaxy A14 is slightly better because it managed to beat 32 FPS at 97% stability in Diablo Immortalwhile the realme C55 did not even open the game, the screen was all black.

Design do Galaxy A14

It is impossible to say which of the two models is the most beautiful, since each one must please a different audience. Those who prefer something more striking, with a design that doesn’t fall short of the most expensive models on the market, should prefer the realme C55, which has a beautiful rear arrangement, where it organizes its photographic lenses in a module with a beautiful finish. It also has a body coated with seven layers of material that doesn’t leave fingerprints around, which is another positive point.

The Galaxy A14 should please those who prefer something more minimalist and social, joining the wave of what is most modern on the market today. Samsung has implemented the same visual language here as its most important models, where a smooth cover highlights a matte finish and its three cameras with a design similar to that of a traffic light.

However, the realme C55 stands out for having a larger size: 6.72 inches contra 6.6 inches of the Galaxy A14, and is the only one of the two with 90Hz refresh ratewhich is a tremendous differentiator in this category.

By itself, the realme model’s screen is better in games and other tasks that require more intense animation playback, but the image quality is very similar, with practically the same defects and positive points. Being a cheaper screen, both have a lot of light reflection and a low level of brightness.
