Gaduh Albertina Ho Complained to the Council by a Cheating KPK Prosecutor

Member of the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) Albertina Ho reported to KPK Council suspected of violating ethics due to complaints to hospital employees to get special facilities. The person who reported Albertina was known to the Prosecutor at the KPK with the initial D, who was subject to ethical sanctions for being caught cheating with a fellow employee.

D was caught having an affair with a woman with the initials S who is also a KPK employee. D was reported by S’s husband to the KPK Council.

In the case it was stated that D and S were reported to have committed acts of infidelity or adultery which could be qualified as acts that did not heed the obligations of the basic values ​​of integrity as regulated in Article 4 paragraph (1) letter n Regulation of the Supervisory Board (Perdewas) Number 2 of 2020 concerning Code Enforcement. KPK Ethics and Code of Conduct.

The decision on the case was announced on March 7, 2022. The ethics council chaired by Tumpak H Panggabean assisted by Indriyanto Seno Adji and Syamsuddin Haris then read the verdict on Thursday, March 10, 2022. A total of eight people were questioned as witnesses in the ethics trial and 3 witnesses lighten up.

Both D and S were found jointly guilty of committing infidelity and violating the basic values ​​of integrity as referred to in Article 4 paragraph (1) letter n of the Perdewas Number 3 of 2021.

KPK Asks All Parties to Respect the Council’s Decision

Acting KPK Spokesperson Ali Fikri asked all parties to respect the KPK Council’s decision. He said that it was the authority of the Dewas to process incoming complaints.

“We have completely handed over the process of enforcing the code of ethics for KPK personnel to the Supervisory Board. This is in line with the authority and duties of the Council as regulated in Article 37B of the KPK Law,” Ali told reporters, Wednesday (6/4).

“KPK invites all parties to respect the process and its decisions, as well as learn lessons for our mutual improvement in the future,” he added.

Ali claimed that the KPK Council’s decision was a form of KPK’s commitment. He touched on transparency.

“Sanctions and punishments given to employees who violate these are a form of KPK’s zero tolerance for actions that violate the KPK’s code of ethics. The KPK also continues to be committed to upholding the principle of transparency in the enforcement of this code of ethics. We hope that mitigation and prevention efforts can implemented so that ethical violations do not happen again,” said Ali.
