Gabalier invites with liquor to Facebook live show – music

“Just a little,” says a Gabalier wearing a protective mask into the camera on Easter Sunday – and apparently pouring himself a large sip of schnapps. What does he want to say with the video? He is announcing a live video on Facebook for Easter Monday at 7 p.m., which will be a kind of concert. The musician recently presented his new song on Facebook.

Filmed with a handheld camera

The song does without large arrangements and Gabalians reflect on the essentials. Also the video clip that is next to an abandoned farm, silent landscape shots and Gabalier at the lonely bacon snack, was recorded according to the singer with a simple handheld camera, which once again underlines the serious background of the song.

In the music video, which recently appeared on YouTube, Andreas Gabalier sits thoughtfully at the piano against a brick background and sings about the “loneliness” in which “man becomes man again”, the “empty streets” on which “nothing works” and praises a “divided country”, that finds its way back to the middle and holds together again.
