Eric Dier went into the stands furiously in the eighth finals of the FA Cup on Wednesday evening after the elimination of Tottenham Hotspur. The midfielder wanted to get a story from a supporter.
A video pops up on social media showing that Dier is furious in the stands. The 26-year-old Englishman is said to be furious with a supporter, because he allegedly treated teammate Gedson Fernandes racist.
Tottenham was narrowly eliminated in front of his home crowd by Tim Krul’s Norwich City, who played a heroic role in the decisive penalty series. Fernandes missed the decisive penalty kick in London.
The penalty shootout was necessary after the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ended in 1-1 in regular time. Jan Vertonghen and Josip Drmic scored in the first ninety minutes and in the extension no goals were scored.
