In special cases, the mayor can admit more than thirty people to a funeral for the next two weeks. The House of Representatives has decided this tonight.
–
All parliamentary parties agreed with a proposal to that effect by SGP MP Kees van der Staaij. Prime Minister Rutte emphasized in advance during a debate that it really must be about special requests.
–
For funerals, a maximum of thirty people normally applies from 9 November. But the politicians realize that it is sometimes extra difficult not to be able to say goodbye to a loved one.
–
Customization is now possible. This also applies to organized, private activities in libraries and community centers. Here too, the entire House of Representatives agreed with a proposal by Jesse Klaver to this effect.
–
According to Rutte, it should not be a complete reopening of community centers and libraries. But daytime activities for the vulnerable and personal guidance of students are still allowed.
