The Social Work Foundation of Castilla y León opened its new office this Friday MonteCredit, the social credit entity promoted by Fundos. The new facilities are located in the Padre Island Avenue from the city of León, an enclave from which credit services with collateral will be provided, a fast, fair, transparent and unguaranteed loan system that enables immediate liquidity. The president of Fundos, Jorge Luis García, has claimed the importance of this type of entity for society, highlighting its altruistic work: “The philanthropic nature of MonteCredit is typical of these organizations from the very moment of their conception. Consequently, the Social credit entities have played a key role in facilitating access to financing under non-abusive conditions. But not only that. They have also had an enormous influence on the economic and social development of our country”.
This new office in León represents the expression of its commitment to the province in which what was first a pawnshop, now called a social credit entity, has had great relevance thanks to its social work. Its profits are invested in areas such as education and research, culture or heritage, among other purposes carried out by Fundos.
The mayor of Leon, Jose Antonio Ten He stressed during the act that the objective of the pawnshops remains “intact” as well as their “purpose for which they were created as the most transparent alternative to fight against financial exclusion and user practice”. “From here we hope that the mountains continue to have their function, continue to remain in our Lion and in our lives,” concluded the alderman.
Jose Maria Viejo del PozoCEO of Fundsand Ramon Albapresident of the Spanish Association of Pawnbrokers, also participated in the act in which they were accompanied by the Subdelegate of the Government, Faustin Sánchez, the territorial delegate of the Junta de Castilla y León, Esther Muñoz, as well as by other civil and military authorities.
From now on Leonese will be able to enjoy all the services of MonteCredit among which the access to an immediate loan stands out in exchange for a jewel that the client can recover or sell.
