For her part, the Deputy Minister of Epidemiological Surveillance, María Renee Castro, specified that one of the fundamental requirements is the consent of the parents due to the age of this group. The document will be available at the vaccination points.

“Tomorrow (Tuesday) we start the vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine to people 16 and 17 years of age. It is very important to remind the population that they must carry their identity card and the consent signed by their parents, guardians or a first-degree relative, ”he reported.

The authority specified that the Departmental Health Services (Headquarters) and municipalities must have authorized points for the distribution of Pfizer vaccines. “It is very important to go to health facilities that have vaccines, mass vaccination points, among others,” said Castro.
