From June 23rd, the Flixtrain will take you from Halle to Switzerland – there is also a direct train connection to Halle’s twin city of Karlsruhe – you are Halle

The city of Halle (Saale) will receive another train connection from the private railway company Flixtrain. So far, trains on the Berlin – Stuttgart connection have stopped once or twice a day in each direction. From June 23, there will also be a connection to Switzerland.

From Thursday to Sunday, the train always departs at 12:44 p.m. and arrives in Basel at 7:28 p.m. The journey can currently be booked for EUR 29.99, which is half the price of the early booker for the ICE – where you also have to change trains because there is no direct connection.

And for the first time there is also a direct train connection to Halle’s twin city of Karlsruhe without having to change trains. In future, Baden-Baden, Offenburg, Freiburg (Breisgau) and Weil am Rhein can also be reached from Halle by Flixtrain.

Thanks to the new train connection, there is now another trip from Halle to Berlin from Thursday to Monday.
