Catrina, you have been working at Carvolution as a Sales Manager since the beginning of the year. What are you doing exactly?

This has been increasing again for a few months, which is why I commute to Bannwil 1 to 2 times a week. I find the personal contact enormously valuable.

How do you commute to work?
That is very different. Sometimes by car and sometimes by train. It always depends on the time of day.

What does your career look like?
After graduating from high school, I studied cultural sciences at the University of Zurich for a bachelor’s degree. I then completed my master’s degree in world society and world politics at the University of Lucerne. At the same time, I worked in gastronomy for many years and that’s how I got a taste for customer-oriented work and finally closed Carvolution.

What is your relation to cars? Or to put it another way: Do you have to have petrol in your blood to be able to sell cars?
It’s definitely an advantage if you like cars or driving and have some petrol in your blood. However, this has only developed for me in recent years and has intensified when I myself Carvolution-Customer became.

Before you started your job with the Swiss car subscription pioneer, you were a customer at Carvolution: what made you a car subscriber?
For my previous job, I was looking for a flexible car that was as inexpensive as possible. I came across the subscription option that covers these aspects for me and represents the perfect solution.

What convinced you the most about the car subscription?

How was your experience with your Carvolution car?
My experiences have been very good. I felt like I was in good hands from day one, the team is just great. Above all, I found the simplicity, i.e. the fact that I didn’t have to worry about anything about the car, ideal. Registering the car, taking out comprehensive insurance and also ordering the right tires and then storing them, all of this is taken care of Carvolution. I was also very satisfied during the subscription period. When I realized that I wasn’t driving that many kilometers after all, I was able to adjust my kilometer package myself in the app. I also had an overview of all my bills there. And last but not least, the price is of course a point that I felt comfortable with. For me, the car subscription is the inexpensive alternative to buying and leasing.

Was it a coincidence that you went from being a customer to an employee?

The clientele at Carvolution is very diverse and their needs are just as diverse. The start-up groove of Carvolution you can feel it above all in the drive and in the “thinking outside the box” of the entire team. Processes also change quickly and our day-to-day work is extremely dynamic – everyone contributes and together we look at what works and what doesn’t.

Carvolution is an innovative, data-driven company. The hall at the company headquarters in Bannwil is full of modern cars. Rural idyll dominates all around: how do you imagine working in Bannwil?
In Bannwil you are surrounded by a range of cool cars and so extremely close to the product you are selling. Because, for example, the Operations office, where the vehicles are registered and the license plates are ordered, is right next to the sales office. And the workshop where the cars are processed and prepared for handover is also there. It’s always exciting to see how everyone on the car subscription and the all-inclusive package from Carvolution work.

What do you do when you’re not working for Carvolution?
Then I’m writing my dissertation, I’m jogging, on my gravel bike, or hiking in the mountains with friends.
