Unofficial reformatting of the quadruple coalition and the cabinet within this parliament – instead of a loyal partnership, floating majorities. This seems to be the only possible option for it to continue to exist

relying unofficially on the votes of the opposition.
This shows the behavior of the four parties from the last two weeks, when the tension between “We continue the change” and “There is such a people” is growing. And hot topics are ahead for the other two parties.
In fact, this is an option that suits each of the participants in power – he will demonstrate that he is fighting for his priorities, without finally being blamed for the failure of the government and new early elections.
The first sign that the coalition will rely on floating majorities is the BNB dispute. 3 of the 4 parties disapprove of ITN candidate Lubomir Karimanski, but Slavi was adamant he would not withdraw. Bringing him into the plenary hall without the support of his partners, he has no choice but to rely on the support of GERB and MRF. Another question is that he will hardly receive it, but the final answer will be given by the deputies in the vote on Friday. However, this case will certainly enter the practice of the coalition as the Karimanski precedent and will trace its reformatting from a quadruple to a 3: 1 formula – one of the partners wants something very much, the other three do not.
It will be repeated soon, as the BSP amends the Electoral Code to return the paper ballot in parallel with the machines. This is not supported by its partners and the ratio in the coalition is again 3: 1, as in the BNB.
However, the coalition agreement does not prohibit a stand-alone legislative initiative where it does not find support from the relevant expert council. That is why the Socialists, with a clear conscience, left the issue in the hall – with the votes of the opposition and individual deputies from the other groups.
We do not look at them as the votes of GERB, MRF, “Vazrazhdane” or anyone else, but as a representative
of deputies from all groups. And I am convinced that there may be some from PP, ITN and DB. (…) This is not a left or right project, it is not of the BSP, but it is a legislative intention to increase the turnout, explained the day before in an interview with “24 hours” the head of the left group Georgi Svilenski.
GERB has already firmly announced the return of the paper ballot. The MRF, on the other hand, is generally for machine counting, not machine voting, plus in the elections a year ago, its entire leadership demonstratively released a paper ballot.
The coalition is also splitting on the proposal of “Democratic Bulgaria” to give a mandate to the government to support Ukraine with weapons. BSP and ITN are strongly opposed. Whatever they decide, no cartridge can leave without my signature. If they want to replace me, but I won’t sign, cut off Cornelia Ninova recently. And her deputies announced that they will leave if it happens. Thus, in this case, the partners are 2: 2, and DB and PP can find support in the face of GERB, which also submitted a request to send weapons to Kyiv. However, the two projects have not yet been discussed in committees.

The tension between the partners from PP and ITN can find a new manifestation today – on Friday, when Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev establish their party in Plovdiv, most of Slavi’s deputies will pour out there. In the city house of culture Toshko Yordanov, Iva Miteva, Stanislav Balabanov and their colleagues have invited people to comment on important topics of government. Since coming to power, they have not held such meetings with voters in Plovdiv. And an hour before the congress of the PP, the Minister of Transport Nikolay Sabev will speak in the industrial zone “Maritsa” about the city railway, which is included in the recovery plan. Thus, on Friday night under the hills will be a great battle for the love of Plovdiv.
Against the background of the increasingly visible tension in power, President Rumen Radev also warned the partners. The Bulgarians expect the parties in the coalition to show that they can unite in the name of the national interest and solve the problems of the Bulgarians, he commented. The problems of the people are many and for their solution active work and clear results are required, he insisted.
