Six friends are given the opportunity to become the main protagonists of the American sitcom Friends meet at the recordings of the long-awaited reunion special. Jennifer Aniston announced this on Tuesday Instagram.

“We invite you and five of your friends to join us in Stage 24 (the studio where Friends was recorded, ed.) “, writes the 51-year-old actress, who played Rachel in the series.

“Be our personal guest in the audience during the filming of our HBO reunion, as we look back at the show and the fun we had,” she continues. “We hope this brings you pleasure and is something to look forward to.”

After the filming, the winners in Central Perk can have a cup of coffee with protagonists Aniston, Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler) and David Schwimmer (Ross). In addition, they are given a tour of the Warner Bros. Studio.

To be eligible for an invitation to the reunion, fans must make a donation to All In, a foundation dedicated to Americans who are not well off.

Initially, the recordings of the special would take place in April, but due to the corona virus, the recordings have been moved to May at the earliest.

Ten seasons of the popular series were recorded between 1994 and 2004. Friends is one of the most watched sitcoms in America.
