But manager Kaweh Niroomand warned that slacking off “can be eye-catching”. Should Friedrichshafen win the home game, there would be a fourth game on Sunday in Berlin.

Since 2013, the BR Volleys and Friedrichshafen have been fighting for the national championship in the finals. In the seven final series since then, the Berliners have been successful six times, only in 2015 Friedrichshafen won.

Volleys captain Sergej Grankin is convinced that he will win the title again after the season was canceled without a championship decision last season due to the effects of the corona. «We played really well at home.
