In the world of gastronomy, there are many awards and rankings, but here is one that French chef Daniel Boulud should savor. Installed for nearly 30 years in New York, this Lyonnais of origin was consecrated Monday best restaurateur in the world for his restaurant “Daniel” (two Michelin stars), announced the association Les Grandes Tables du Monde.

Monovarietal and cannolo
In the category of best sommelier, the Argentinian Sergio Calderon, working with Michel and Sébastien Bras at the “Maison Bras” in Laguiole en Aubrac (Massif Central), was elected. It was he who selected the wines for the new Bras restaurant in the Bourse de Commerce Collection Pinault in Paris. Finally, the prize for the best dining room manager is awarded to Jenny Yun of the “Manresa” restaurant in Los Gatos, California.
