The Minister of Labor before the court. Olivier Dussopt will be judged from November 27 to 30, 2023 at the Paris Criminal Court for acts of favoritismindicates a judicial source to actu.fr this Friday, June 2, confirming information from BFM TV.

The facts date back to 2009, when the current minister was mayor of Annonay, in Ardèche. The investigation, opened by the PNF (national financial prosecutor’s office), updated “exchanges between Olivier Dussopt and Saur (a drinking water supplier in France, editor’s note), seeming to leave little doubt about the existence of ‘an arrangement around a public market’. Information revealed at the time by Mediapart.

The main interested party defended himself with our colleagues from BFMindicating that he will convince “the court of the merits of (his) position and of (his) good faith”.
