French Foreign Ministry Condemns Russian Attacks on Ukrainian Civilian Infrastructure

The French Foreign Ministry condemned the latest Russian missile and drone attacks against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

It is reported by “European truth“.

IN statementpublished on Friday, the French Foreign Ministry condemned in “the strongest terms” the strikes aimed at Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions, stressing that it was the thirteenth attack on the Ukrainian capital in May.

“These strikes were again deliberately directed at civilian targets, in particular at the hospital in Dnipro, which is a gross violation of international humanitarian law,” they noted.

“As Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna has repeatedly emphasized, these unacceptable acts are war crimes and must not go unpunished,” the French Foreign Ministry added.

The French side stressed that it would support the Ukrainian courts and the International Criminal Court to bring to justice those involved in these crimes, as well as provide Ukraine with humanitarian and military support “as long as necessary.”

On May 26, Russian troops launched a rocket attack prohibited by the Geneva Convention on a polyclinic and a veterinary clinic in the city of Dnipro.

As a result, 31 people were injured, including two children, at least two people were killed, and three more are missing.
