Today there was an accident between a car driver and a pedelec rider at the intersection of Berliner Allee and Charlottenburger Strasse.
The 44-year-old driver drove on Berliner Allee at around 9.45 a.m. At the intersection mentioned above, there was a collision with a 70-year-old pedelec rider crossing the street.
The investigations into the exact course of the accident have not yet been completed.
The pedelec rider did not wear a helmet and suffered a head injury. She was taken to a nearby hospital. No statement can be made about the severity of the injuries.
Property damage of around 3,500 euros was caused to both vehicles.
The investigation was carried out by the Freiburg traffic police.
