MISANO – Free practice sessions 2 MotoGP San Marino 2021 will take place at the Misano Circuit, Friday (17/9/2021), evening WIB. Pramac Ducati Racer, Johann Zarco, being the fastest in free practice 2.
It was raining heavily ahead of free practice session 2, but the riders could breathe a sigh of relief when the sun came back up as the practice session started. KTM Tech3 racer Iker Lecuona was able to appear quite impressive at the beginning of the 2nd practice session by being the fastest.
Several other riders had to be constrained by the wet circuit conditions. Petronas Yamaha SRT racer, Valentino Rossi, had to widen through the gravel at corner eight. Even worse fate befell the Avintia Ducati racer, Enea Bastianini, who had an accident at the first corner.
Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, tried hard to surpass the time inscribed by Iker Lecuona. As a result, the Spaniard was able to outperform Lecuona after several attempts.

Some time after that, the circuit conditions gradually improved and the racers were able to ride their bikes faster. Jack Miller from Ducati Lenovo was able to shift Marquez’s position.
Ducati was able to dominate the 2nd free practice session. Ducati put its three riders at the forefront, with Miller in first position, Zarco in second, and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) in third.
15 minutes before free practice 2 ended, heavy rain fell again. This made Lecuona bounce off his motorbike at the first corner.
At the same time, Ducati was able to maintain its dominance until practice 2 ended. Three Ducati riders were able to dominate with Zarco in first position, Miller in second, and Bagnaia in third. Meanwhile, Marquez sealed the fifth position and Rossi took the 16th place.
