In order to encourage the population to be vaccinated against the coronavirus and thus stem the epidemic on its territory, the mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, seems ready for anything. In a video posted to Twitter on Thursday, the Democrat announced to New Yorkers that they could now receive free fries after getting vaccinated.
To offer this reward to its citizens, New York City Hall has partnered with the famous American fast food Shake Shack, appreciated by the general public. On its website, the brand explains how to do this: ” Starting this Thursday, May 13, and while supplies last, New Yorkers can get a free ShackBurger voucher when they get vaccinated at one of the city’s mobile vaccination buses. Even better ? Through Saturday, June 12, we’ll also be serving vaccinated New Yorkers free fries with the purchase of any chicken burger or sandwich. To take advantage of this offer, simply show a member of the team your vaccination card before ordering in one of our stores.“.
Beyond this incentive, the vaccination campaign in the United States is likely to experience a serious boost from this Thursday, since the vaccine can now also be administered to young people between the ages of 12 and 15.
